Unfortunately, the cold has slinked back into Chicago and because of this all the lovely cool summer foods I'd usually be cooking are on hold until further rays of sunshine heat us up again.

I promised a long time ago that I would write about the Mongolian Garlic Crusher and have decided to do it now, since my salt posting is taking some time - there's just too much to write about salt and I want to give you as much salty juice as possible on my favorite mineral when it's properly done.

For those of you that have not contemplated salt, where it comes from, what it should look (and taste) like, where to get it, what it does for you medicinally, I've done a lot of this the last few years and would love to share. Besides being quite addicted to chilies, one of my other loves is salt.
