It is a lovely coincidence to celebrate both (Saint) Valentines Day and the Year of the Tiger on the same day, you can do both, or pick one over the other.

Apparently there are differing opinions on why Saint Valentines Day is celebrated.

Alcohol (wine, liquor, etc) was a prescribed medicinal long before it arrived in a martini glass. I can see how people might potentially get rather excited about healing with alcohol, it would be oh so convenient! Perhaps the whole concept of medicine brings to mind sterile green hued rooms, uncomfortable exams, or poor tasting pills and tinctures and that's why a healing wine might seem to come in extra handy in the midst of all this poking and prodding.
